Accumen was born from the Itelco Group (a Benelux niche-market recruitment business, established in Belgium in 1992). The company quickly established itself as a dynamic recruitment partner for many key organizations, helping to set new standards within the Benelux recruitment industry.
From the start Accumen's strategy was to focus as a generalist exept for the ICT market which is carried by Itelco (www.itelco.com) and this fitted perfectly with the rising market demand for specialist recruitment services. Of course within Accumen, recruiters hold specific responsability for their own markets. The approach allowed us to become true experts in our chosen sector: our consultants developed a clear vision of the market and each client's business; they were able to screen candidates more accurately and properly understand their capabilities; and they developed strong industry networks allowing them to deliver real value to a client's recruitment assignment.
In 2006, Focus Finance was incorporated into the group. As certified Accountancy and Tax advisors, this move enabled Accumen to further leverage their specialist knowledge and provide a greater in-depth analysis of customer needs.
Today, with several offices across Europe, Accumen, part of the 3G Group (www.3ggroup.eu) is set-up to deliver success on even the most demanding recruitment assignments.
